Mr. Ryan Rowland received a prestigious fellowship for 2007-08 from Sigma Beta Delta, the International Honor Society for Business, Management, and Administration.
Ms. Laura Crews, who graduated in May with the B.S. in Economics, received the John A. Berry Scholar Award at the May commencement, recognizing her as the outstanding graduating senior at Charleston Southern University for 2008.
Ms. Erica Nanke, who graduated in May with the B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting, received the Myrtle Hamrick award at the May commencement. The Myrtle Hamrick award is presented annually to the Charleston Southern University graduate who exemplifies the highest virtues of Christian womanhood.
Mr. Garrett Abel received the School of Business Dean's Award for 2008-09. This scholarship is presented annually to the outstanding rising senior in the School of Business.
Ms. Erica Nanke received one of the prestigious scholarships from the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants for 2007-08. She received the Past Presidents Scholarship.
Mr. Mathew Hurd was the recipient of a scholarship from the local chapter of the Institute of Managerial Accountants.
Ms. Jennifer Nguyen and Mr. Garrett Abel were recipients of 2008 scholarships from the Mortgage Lenders' Association of Greater Charleston.
Ms. Sally Moak and Mr. Mark Perry received scholarships from the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants for 2008-09.
