Cynthia Dyson is an Assistant Professor in the Derry Patterson Wingo School of Nursing at Charleston Southern University. She received her bachelor of science in nursing from Clemson University and her master of science in maternal/child nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. Her specialty area is maternity and pediatrics. Ms. Dyson is also a Certified Pediatric Nurse and teaches at the undergraduate level. She has developed nursing courses, clinical courses and graduate nursing programs for CSU.
She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Gamma Omicron at-Large Chapter. She is a member of the Society of Pediatric Nurses. Ms Dyson serves on the Folic Acid College Advisory Board. She coordinates many health fairs throughout the community.
