Student Buc Mail Instructions
Buc Mail login instructions, you can access your email by clicking on the Buc Mail icon at the bottom of the main CSU web page or CLICK HERE.
Your login name is:
Your Email address
Your initial password is:
first 2 initials of your last name and your student id without the leading zeros.
For example, if your name is John M. Smith and your student id is 12345 your username would be:
USERNAME: jmsmith@csustudent.net
PASSWORD: sm12345
There have been reports of problems logging in when using the number pad on the keyboard when typing in your password. Please be sure to use the numbers on the top row of your keyboard when typing in the numbers in your password.
When you first access the system you will be prompted to reset your password and enter your language preference and your time zone. Please use a password you can remember, it must be at least 6 characters and should contain numbers letters and special characters ( ! @ # $ % ^ & etc)
Once you are logged in you will see your inbox and other folders. Across the top of the screen your will see links for your mail, Office Live, photos and links for your 25GB of online storage known as SkyDrive.
If you experience problems logging into Buc Mail account, please email your full name (first, middle, and last) along with your CSU student ID number to bucmail@csustudent.net for assistance.
