The James F. Byrnes Foundation

The C. G. Fuller Foundation Scholarship
Residents of South Carolina who are unable to pay their own tuition and who demonstrate good scholastic records and outstanding leadership are qualified candidates. Application forms are available at the CSU Office of Financial Aid.
Christian Vocational Stipend
Baptist students planning a career in a full-time Christian vocation are eligible to apply for assistance through this work program. These stipends are provided by the South Carolina Baptist Convention to assist needy students. Applications are available from:

The J. E. Sirrine Scholarship Program
The J.E. Sirrine Scholarship was established in 1973 and provides scholarship assistance to high school seniors of the fourteen Greenville County high schools in Greenville, South Carolina who have met the academic and financial need criteria as set forth in the Sirrine guidelines. A high school graduate may also apply for the Sirrine Scholarship up to three years after the date of graduation. The value of the scholarship ranges from $200 to $2,000, depending on the financial need, and may be used for an undergraduate degree program at any accredited four-year college, two-year college, technical or vocational school anywhere in the United States. The scholarships are renewable. Checks in the amount of the scholarship award are payable directly to the designated college and sent to the financial aid office of that institution. The application and a copy of the Student Aid Report must be postmarked no later than April 15th of each year and sent to:

Employer Scholarship Program
Many companies have scholarship programs for their employees and/or their dependents. Students and parents should check with the personnel office of their company to see if such benefits are available.
USA Funds Access to Education Scholarships
Applicants must have an annual adjusted gross income of $35,000 or less. Up to 50% of the awards are targeted to members of an ethnic-minority group or have a documents physical disability. For more information, click here.

Talbots Women’s Scholarship Fund
Females residing in the United States who have earned a high school diploma or GED on or before September 1997 are eligible to apply at Talbots.com.
The Kingdom Scholarship College Fund
In order to be eligible for this scholarship the student must be a full-time minority male or female sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. The applicant is required to submit a 500-1000 word essay on the following topic: You have been given $10,000 to implement a program in your community. Based on the needs of your community, what type of program would you implement and why? Explain in detail. Essays must be double-spaced, checked for all grammar mistakes and submitted along with the completed application via fax, Attn: The Kingdom Scholarship @ 415-534-1466 or by email to thekingomscholarship@yahoo.com no later than December 12, 2008. Applications are located in the Financial Aid Office.
Focused on the Future Scholarship Program
To qualify, applicants need to be member of the Christian Community Credit Union and enrolled in 12 hours or more for undergraduate students or 8 hours or more for graduate students. Scholarships range from $500 to $2000. Applications can be located in the Financial Aid Office or can be downloaded from myCCCU.com/students. Application deadline is June 13, 2008.
