Career Center

 

Welcome to the Charleston Southern University Career Center. We provide career services to students and facilitate the process of connecting God-given passion to skills and abilities through Charleston Southern University majors. We endeavor to increase job placement opportunities for students by partnering with businesses, churches and the Charleston Southern community.

Our mission is to help students develop job skills for future employment.

Students can speak with a career professional or receive career counseling online or in person. In our virtual career center, students may conduct a mock interview, conduct a job search for national and international job opportunities, apply for internships and post résumés, cover letters, reference list and graduate school essays for critique.

The Career Center sponsors annual events such as recruiting events, career fairs, career planning classes for credit, internship opportunities for credit, workshops and interview day. 

Our Career Counselors, including Student Career Counselors, are dedicated to helping students utilize services, obtain career-related resources and explore majors and careers. We pledge to provide courteous and respectful service, timely and accurate responses, a supportive environment, personalized attention, sensitivity and an appreciation of individual differences. Our staff is dedicated to helping students succeed!
