CONNECTION is an event to promote positive connections at CSU. Connections are an important part of overall health and wellness. Students will learn about positive ways to connect such as getting involved with student activities, clubs, intramurals as well as community agencies and activities. Students will also explore many of the barriers to connecting such as stress, depression, alcohol, and anxiety and learn about ways to overcome these. CONNECTION will have a fun, relaxed atmosphere with FREE FOOD and GAMES.
At the event sponsored by CSU Counseling Services, FREE mental health screenings will be offered and professional mental health counselors will be available to set appointments for students who wish to do so. This event will be a great time for freshmen to come out and find connections and for sophomores, juniors and seniors to re-establish connections and reach out to others. |
