Charleston Southern University is one of the largest accredited, private universities in South Carolina. Affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention, the University offers 33 undergraduate and three graduate degree programs and enrolls more than 3,100 students.
The University, founded in 1964, continues to be committed to a mission of promoting academic excellence in a Christian environment. Charleston Southern is guided by its vision as well; to be a Christian university nationally recognized for integrating faith in learning, leading and serving.
