Registration
1. When do I register for classes?
2. I am an incoming Freshman, when do I register?
3. Who may not use MyCSU to register for classes?
4. How do I register for classes online?
5. How do I withdraw from a course?

1. When do I register?
Students at CSU will process their registrations using MyCSU during published registration periods. See the Academic Calendar for appropriate dates & deadlines.

• For Fall or Spring classes, students are assigned a priority registration time period determined by your classification.

• Registration priority is determined by student level (graduate or undergraduate). Students should use their current level. For undergraduate students, you must contact your advisor prior to registering.

2. I am an incoming Freshman, how do I register?
All incoming Freshmen must see their advisor to register.

3. Who may not use MyCSU to register for classes?

  • Freshmen (earned 30 or less hours).  See your advisor to register.
  • Bridge Program students.
  • Students on Academic Probation.
  • New transfer students.
  • Students with a HOLD blocking registration.

    • Contact the department who placed the hold for more information.  If you have a Business Office hold, be sure to check with them to see if you are eligible for a hold override to allow registration.  If an override is granted, you must take a completed registration form (signed by your advisor) to the Business Office so they can place a seal on it.  The special seal indicates the override approval and will allow the Office of the Registrar to enter your schedule.  Class availability could change during this process.
Contact the Office of the Registrar if you have questions at 843-863-8060 or registrar@csuniv.edu
