Kari Lee Siko Walters teaches in both the College of Education and Department of English. Prior to coming to CSU, she taught English at the middle school, high school and community college levels. In her role as Director of Instructional Technology, she is responsible for helping university faculty integrate more technology into their teaching.
Prior research included use of electronic readers in education and incorporating standards into the classroom. Her current research areas include: iPads in Education; using technology to enhance teaching, and using technology to become more reflective in teaching. She has published her work in EdTechnology, Social Education, Virginia English Bulletin, NASPA Journal, and A Theodore Dreiser Encyclopedia. She also has presented at numerous international, national, state, regional, and local conferences.
