CREDENTIALS
PhD
After growing up in the mountains of North Carolina I initially attended Mars Hill University where I played college football for a season. After leaving Mars Hill I joined the US army and was stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. While in the military I married my wife, Tessa. I left the military and went back to school at Western Carolina University where I finished my bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Health And Physical Education. After working as A PE teacher for a year I began work on my doctorate at West Virginia University, I’ve worked in SC for the last 5 years as an assistant professor at Anderson and Winthrop Universities. My wife and I have six wonderful children and keep pigs, goats, chickens, and ducks on our small farm.
Your Purpose. Our Mission.
The concept of aligning purpose and mission is central to my work here at CSU, it's truly critical for us to help students to connect their spiritual purpose to their vision of their future.
