Bradley Parker

Associate Professor of Music, Keyboard Area Coordinator

Canadian pianist, Brad Parker, has performed extensively as a soloist and collaborative pianist, in the United States, Canada, France, Italy, and Haiti. In the first year of his residency in Charleston, South Carolina, he performed with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, the Charleston Wind Symphony, the Charleston Men’s Chorus, as well as performing a recital in the Emily Remington Concert Series and the Piccolo Spoleto Festival.

Dr. Parker is Associate Professor of Music and Keyboard Area Coordinator at Charleston Southern University, where he teaches piano and other music courses. He previously taught at Erskine College, Houghton College, and Finger Lakes Community College. His passion for musical instruction led him to volunteer for several summers at the North Haiti Music Camp, on the campus of the Christian University of North Haiti.

Brad completed a Masters and DMA in Piano Performance at the Eastman School of Music and spent one year in France studying French music at the Paris Conservatory. Previously he studied at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada where he earned a Bachelor of Music with Distinction.  His primary teachers include Dr. Heather Dawn Taves, Rebecca Penneys, and Jean Koerner.
