SUMMARY:On the Other Side: The Anita Zucker Story
DESCRIPTION:Charleston Southern University will debut an original theatrical production titled “On The Other Side”\, exploring the true story of the life\, trials\, and triumphs of Anita Zucker’s family and how it shaped her journey\, from the survival of her parents during the Holocaust to her own rise as an educator\, entrepreneur\, and one of South Carolina’s most influential community leaders.  \nWritten and directed by Thomas Keating and Drew Heineman\, the play was developed in collaboration with the CSU Players\, which consists of 14 students. The plot is rooted in the powerful story of Zucker’s parents\, Rose and Carl Goldberg. Both endured unimaginable hardships during the Holocaust.  \n“On The Other Side” will premiere at Lightsey Chapel on Oct. 23-26.
