Bucky, CSU’s beloved Buccaneer, comes alive with the help of our very own Bucs!
Student Life hires one student each year to attend campus gatherings, Sweet 16 events, community events, festivals, and events such as weddings and birthdays.
Do you have what it takes to be Bucky? Here are the requirements:
- Attend tryouts
- Be a rising CSU sophomore, junior, or senior
- Be able to keep your identity a secret
- Obtain recommendations from faculty and staff
- Willing to be a servant leader for the university and the community
Bucky will receive a $4,000 scholarship for a year ($2,000 per semester) and a $2,000 annual stipend ($1,000 per semester, dispersed at $250 per month). At the end of each year, Bucky’s identity will be revealed.
