Panel of Presenters and Q & A: Health & Safety, Vocal Health, Repetitive Use Injury and Mental Health

CSU Faculty and professionals from the medical field specializing in healthy and safe practices in a professional musical environment will present a public lecture and question and answer session. Whitfield Center of Christian Leadership, Drew Conference Center.

Music Therapy Student Research Presentations

Students of Dr. Jennifer Whipple, Director and Curriculum Coordinator of Music Therapy, will present individual research projects. Students to be featured will be: (1) Christine Barnes presenting "Musicians' Perspectives of Mental Health," (2) Alisa Ljungquist presenting "Stress Level of the Full Time Worker and Student" and (3) Cecelia Pooler presenting "Music, Emotions, and Mental Health." Heather J. Thompson, PT/DPT/GCS, Assistant Professor of Kinesiology, will present a public lecture regarding repetitive use injury and prevention and its applications into the music profession. Whittington Hall, Room 103.
