CSU closing campus due to Hurricane Matthew

Charleston Southern University is closing at 5:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, October 4th in anticipation of Hurricane Matthew taking a westerly track towards the East Coast.

The safety of our students and campus community is of paramount concern.  All classes and campus activities will end at 5:00 p.m. today. Sports events, campus activities, The President's Own Marine Corp Band concert, and campus visits are cancelled.

Residential students must make plans to leave campus by noon on Wednesday, October 5th. International students must contact Stephanie LeVan at 843-863-7382.

Essential personnel will be on campus according to the CSU Emergency Plan. Please monitor the CSU website for additional information as the storm moves closer to the U.S.
