Kimber Gist

Berkeley County Sheriff corporal Kimber Gist will share her story for the first time on Thursday, November 17 at the Whitfield Center for Christian Leadership on the campus of Charleston Southern University. Gist was shot eight times last February while responding to a call.

Gist, who is a criminal justice student at CSU, is scheduled to speak at 2 p.m. in the Drew Conference Center inside the Whitfield Center for Christian Leadership. She will share her story and how it’s changed her life.

This event is open to the public, but space is limited.

Founded in 1964, Charleston Southern University is a private, four-year liberal arts college. CSU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and is affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The University's vision is to be a Christian university nationally recognized for integrating faith in learning, leading and serving.
