A diverse cohort of students is important to our program because Physician Assistants
must be prepared to take care of all patients regardless of gender, age, race, background
or socioeconomic status.
We enrolled 25 students in the Class of 2019:
Entering students are academically well prepared to succeed in our program, and all
students have cumulative and science GPAs which exceed our minimum GPA requirements
The first time Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) rates for the five most recent graduating classes as provided by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) compared to the national average will be published once this information becomes available for the Class of 2019.
The PA Program is committed to the vision of Charleston Southern University: Academic Excellence in a Christian Environment. Student feedback from their graduate survey will be published once this information
becomes available for the Class of 2019.
The CSU PA Program fosters a culture of service, leadership and scholarly activities through the example of our faculty and support to students through mentorship. 100% of our faculty and students are expected to participate in at least one of these areas. This information will be provided at the end of our first cohort's didactic year.
