The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted. Amount of award: $500. Deadline is every October.
Adventographer Travel Scholarship
Adventographer believes that travel is a catalyst for change, for personal growth, for acceptance and tolerance. The Adventographer staff are proud to offer a biannual $1500 scholarship to one lucky applicant in the fall and spring semesters. Students will submit a photo that they took while traveling (locally or abroad). A 1000-word short format essay of why that memory or moment is special to them is also required. There are no limits aside from your creativity. – Any photo you took while traveling can compete! Applications for the Fall semester are due September 1. Applications for the Spring semester are due February 1.
ASCO Numatics Engineering College Scholarship
ASCO Numatics will award two, $5,000 scholarships to engineering students who are pursuing careers in industrial automation-related disciplines. The scholarships are merit-based and will be awarded on the candidate's potential for leadership and for making a significant contribution to the engineering, instrumentation, systems, and automation professions, particularly as they relate to the application of fluid control and fluid power technologies. Scholarship recipients may be eligible for an ASCO Numatics internship. The deadline to apply is April.

Christian Community Credit Union offers Scholarships for Success to its members attending College, a University, or Seminary. Eligible students must be full-time undergraduates enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester or graduate students enrolled in six or more hours per semester. Exchange Club Scholarship
The Exchange Club of Charleston offers a community-based scholarship every year to students who have at least a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate need, live in the tri-county area, have completed their freshman year of college and have a recent history of involvement in community service. A high school graduate may also apply for the Sirrine Scholarship up to three years after the date of graduation. The scholarship is renewable.
Checks in the amount of the scholarship award are payable directly to the designated college and sent to the financial aid office of that institution.
