"Doctoral candidates often have many responsibilities including family, employment, leadership, and education. I believe one of the best ways to go the extra mile for our candidates is to create relationships with each one and get to know what is going on in their life. Do they need an encouraging word or a gentle nudge to accomplish their writing? I have found that doing small things with great love makes a meaningful difference."
