Supervised clinical practice experiences or clinical rotations are of critical importance to a successful learning experience for our students. Students in the program are required to complete 9 five week rotations with clinical preceptors in the following areas:
- Family Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- Emergency Medicine
- Surgery
- Pediatrics
- Psychiatry
- Women’s Health
- Electives
Under the supervision of clinical preceptors, students will progressively develop the skills and clinical judgment necessary to become a practicing PA.
Becoming a Partner
We would love for you to partner with us in preparing the next generation of Physician Assistant clinicians. We know that successful student clinical rotations require a collaborative effort from students, preceptors and the program. This is why we have created a preceptor handbook with specific information for preceptors who work with students in the CSU PA Program and will be happy to provide by request.
If you are interested in being a clinical preceptor for the CSU PA Program, contact Alycia Rosendale, Director of Clinical Education at arosendale@csuniv.edu or by phone at 843-863-7427 or by clicking below.
