About Mark Williams
Dr. Williams holds a PhD in American history with specializations in US foreign relations and military affairs. He teaches introductory US history courses as well as upper-level classes such as The Early National Period, The Civil War and Reconstruction, The Gilded Age, The American Experience in WWII, America & the Vietnam War, US Military History, and Historiography. His research interests include exploring the connections between Southern culture and the American response to the Cold War.
