Application Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate the following:
- Master’s degree from a CACREP-accredited counseling program (or completion of missing content)
- Minimum 3.5 GPA in graduate coursework (submit all transcripts)
- State counseling licensure (or eligibility)
- Minimum of 2 years post-master’s counseling experience

- Three letters of recommendation (professor, professional colleague, and pastor/spiritual mentor)
- Two writing samples including a Professional Goals & Program Fit Essay and a Faith Integration Philosophy Essay
For those invited, a virtual group interview with CSU Counseling Faculty, including a 10–15 min teaching presentation
