Campus officials monitoring Hurricane Michael

By CSU Media | October 9, 2018

Campus officials are monitoring the track of Hurricane Michael as it approaches the Florida Panhandle on Wednesday. Charleston County, Southeast Georgia and Southeast South Carolina are now under a Tropical Storm Watch, meaning tropical storm-force conditions are possible within 48 hours. According to the National Hurricane Center, it is possible that the Charleston area will see four inches of rain and some tropical storm force winds (39-73 mph).

The safety of our campus community is of the utmost concern. University leadership will continue to monitor conditions and post updates as appropriate. Please monitor Buc Alerts, CSU social media and charlestonsouthern.edu for additional information.
