About Brian Miller
Dr. Miller has taught at Charleston Southern University for sixteen years. He is a specialist in the cultural history of the American South.
"To me, 'Your purpose. Our mission.' means helping students understand the value of history in understanding not only our culture, but their own lives and the lives of those around them. History enables us to be better understand the 'why' of life, and helping students find that why in both large and small ways will aid them in finding the purpose God has set for them."
