Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The MBA has been the flagship program of the CSU Nielsen College of Business for nearly 30 years and has been established to meet the needs of students in both the classroom and the workplace. A Master of Business Administration is the premier professional business degree. The MBA at CSU is offered in two formats: 

The One Year MBA is designed for students seeking an immersive one-year program for candidates who have recently completed their baccalaureate studies. Beginning each August, the 30-hour program lasts twelve months and is designed to bring an MBA education plus preparation for leadership roles in an ever-changing business environment. 

The Flexible MBA is designed for working professionals seeking to complete their degree in 17 or more months. Courses are offered year-round with the options online and/or blended delivery methods each semester. There are three emphases to choose from: General Management, Healthcare Management, and Supply Chain Management.

Our MBA prepares students for success through a time-tested curriculum.  The curriculum requires 10 courses (30 hours) and includes advanced core courses in business strategy, economics, ethics, management, marketing, accounting and finance. A one year MBA is also available.

Jones Hall houses the offices of the president, the vice president for academic affairs and the Nielsen College of Business. Named for Clif S. Jones.
