Master of Education (M.Ed.)

The Master of Education (MEd) program at Charleston Southern University is designed for dedicated educators who are ready to grow into impactful leaders within today’s schools. Through rigorous and relevant coursework, students will have the opportunity to explore educational research, assess and address the needs of diverse student populations, develop an understanding of the legal and ethical environments of public schools, and other issues and perspectives that impact student populations.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the MEd program allows educators to advance professionally while continuing their current roles in education. Delivered fully online and grounded in CSU’s commitment to academic excellence and a Christian worldview, the program offers the following tracks: School Administration and Supervision PK–12 and Physical Education and Sport Coaching. The School Administration and Supervision PK-12 track leads to SCDE School Principal Certification PK-12 upon successful completion of Praxis Exam (5412).

Graduates of the CSU MEd programs are prepared to lead with integrity, competence, and confidence—ready to serve students, schools, and communities with excellence.

Charleston Southern University’s accreditation can be found here.
