Young Alumni Series: Taylor Stevens `16

By CSU Media | August 3, 2019
Taylor Stevens `16 majored in athletic training at Charleston Southern. He now works for Major League Baseball in China.

Taylor Stevens was an athletic training major at Charleston Southern University. See what this young CSU alumnus has been up to since graduation.

What are you doing currently?
I work for Major League Baseball at an international development center in Nanjing, China. I am a certified athletic trainer, caring for boys between the ages of 13-18. These boys are a part of an MLB development program, which prepares them for either a career playing baseball for a major league team or at the collegiate level at an American university.

How did CSU prepare you for the workforce?
The athletic training program prepared me for this career along with my work as a work-study employee at the Brewer Center. CSU helped shape my worldview, which prepared me for life living in China. I am so thankful for the lessons that I learned along the way and the people I had the opportunity to meet who prepared me for where I am today!
