Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Entrepreneurship

At Charleston Southern University, the Bachelor of Business Administration in entrepreneurship offers a unique program for learners who want to know more about the process of discovering, evaluating and exploiting opportunities in an effort to create future goods and services for society to flourish. Successful entrepreneurs possess a capacity to plan, are open to innovation, are capable decision-makers and are willing to assume the risk of a business in return for profit. Some entrepreneurs are lone individuals, but many act in groups or teams, often inside established organizations (intrapreneurship). Entrepreneurship serves as the foundation for a firm’s competitive advantage and technological growth and helps set the pace in today’s highly competitive and global economy.

A minor in entrepreneurship is also available including the new Introduction to Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The minor will provide all students an opportunity to learn about the basics of entrepreneurship and innovation from a Christian worldview. It will focus on business basics like innovation, business plan development, accounting, marketing, and managing small businesses as foundations for developing, managing, and creating new products and services.
