About Sean Hayes
Dr. Sean Hayes serves as a Professor and Chair of the computer science department. His research interests include human-computer interaction, touch interfaces, mobile app design, performance modeling, and educational-assessment design. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from Vanderbilt University. He is an active member of Journey Church in Ladson, SC.
"As a Charleston Southern University alumnus, I went to graduate school with the goal of teaching at a school like CSU. However, I never expected God to lead me back to teach at the very place that shaped me into who I am today. I strive to invest in my students in the same ways my CSU instructors challenged and mentored me."
