About Dr. Lisa Hall-Hyman

Dr. Lisa Hall-Hyman is an associate professor and educational leader with more than 20 years of experience serving public schools and higher education as a teacher, school administrator, district leader, instructional coach, and mentor. Her career reflects a deep commitment to servant leadership and to developing others. She has prepared aspiring teachers, principals, and district leaders while fostering university–district partnerships that strengthen practice.

Her scholarship focuses on systems-based leadership, mentoring, coaching, and teacher well-being to improve retention and student success. Whether leading, teaching, or mentoring, she is dedicated to helping others discover and fulfill their purpose. Her favorite book, The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, reflects her belief that leadership is a calling to serve with excellence, humility, and compassion.
