About Jeffrey Yost
Dr. Jeffrey Yost joined the faculty of Charleston Southern University in 2018 and serves as a professor of accounting at the Hans A. Nielson College of Business and the advisor for Sigma Beta Delta.
Before Charleston Southern, he served as Associate Professor at the College of Charleston, Assistant Professor at Arizona State University, Assistant Professor (visiting) at the University of South Florida, and Assistant Professor at the University of Florida.
Dr. Yost has published numerous articles with his research focusing on the theoretical uses of information in contracts. He has published in the Journal of Management Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, Journal of Information Systems, and others.
Jeff and his wife Regina live in Mount Pleasant with their pug “Satchmo”. Regina is an adjunct professor in the Horton School of Music and a professional musician. They are members of the First (Scots) Presbyterian Church in Charleston.
