Arnica Laurice

Arnica Laurice has joined Charleston Southern University as the new associate vice president of human resources.

Laurice brings 13 years of experience leading human resources across a variety of industries. Before joining CSU as associate vice president of human resources, she served with Moodle—the world’s most popular learning management system—where she led human resources for the company’s U.S. division while also supporting leaders and team members globally.

“I am excited to have Arnica joining our team and know that her extensive experience and proven leadership will play a key role in helping us achieve our vision of being recognized as a Best Place to Work. As we continue to invest in strategic initiatives related to talent acquisition, employee well-being, and retention, her contributions will be instrumental to our success.”

Laurice grew up outside Vancouver, British Columbia, and now calls Summerville home. She and her family relocated to the area six years ago from San Diego, California, where she served as an adjunct professor in the Communications and Theatre Department at Point Loma Nazarene University.

Laurice is especially grateful for God’s faithfulness and for her husband and their two wonderful sons. The family attends Summerville Baptist Church and stays involved in the community through youth sports and the arts.
