Computer Science Degrees at CSU

Charleston Southern University offers two pathways to launch a career in cybersecurity: the on-campus Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, which provides a challenging foundation in computing, mathematics, and security principles, and the online/hybrid Bachelor of Technology in Cybersecurity, a four-year degree that combines a liberal arts education with upper-level technical coursework. Both programs emphasize real-world preparation, including a senior project that lets students apply what they have learned to solve security challenges.

The Charleston Southern University Bachelor of Science in computer science is a challenging track of study in the fundamentals of computer science and mathematics. You will learn the skills necessary to enter the exciting fields of computer programming, networking, app design or technical program management. Every student completes a senior project which provides hands-on and real world experience.

The Bachelor of Technology in computer science at Charleston Southern University is a full four-year degree combining a liberal arts education with a cognate of mostly junior/senior professional courses that prepare the individual to enter the job market at the bachelor degree level. It is designed for persons holding an associate degree in an approved technical field and can be completed online.
