Professor Britt is a Charleston Southern alum and has an extensive background in his field of study. He spent 20+ years in the corporate world, having served as the senior vice president of sales at ConAgra Foods, the director of trade marketing in the Gatorade division of the Quaker Oats Company, the executive pastor at East Cooper Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC, as well as at Harris Creek Baptist Church in Waco, TX, and he has been the owner/operator of KRB Properties, LLC, Wild Iris, LLC, and Inn Connections, LLC, all in Washington state. He has also served as an assistant dean and assistant professor at Charleston Southern University.

Professor Britt and his wife have been married since 1985 and they have two children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Professor Britt enjoys creating instructional application videos for students from around the world (he has created over 500!), working with global missionaries/NGOs to help spread the Gospel in developing countries, and traveling to new places. David has been to all 50 states, 81 countries, and all 7 continents.
