Mark Crawford serves as an associate professor and the department chair of the Hans A. Nielsen College of Business at Charleston Southern University.
Prior to joining CSU, Crawford served for 7 years as a Judge Advocate for the US Marine Corps. During that time, he also entered higher education as an assistant professor and Naval ROTC unit at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. In July 2000, Prof. Crawford entered private practice as an attorney working in the Charleston area for another 7 years.
In 2007, he returned to higher education, joining the full-time faculty at Charleston Southern University. He teaches ethics, business law, commercial law, and human resource law at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

I believe everyone has a God-given purpose to which they are called. As a Christian educator, my job is to help students recognize their purpose and then provide them with the encouragement, instruction, and/or correction to fulfill that purpose.
