DSL (Doctor of Strategic Leadership)

Dr. Holdorf has a diverse background in corporate and ministry experience.

He holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Regent University, an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Emmanuel Theological Seminary in Kota, India, a Master of Arts in Theology from Liberty Theological Seminary, and a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. Dr. Holdorf is a former Certified Public Accountant and an ordained minister of the Gospel.

His corporate experience includes senior executive roles at Arthur Andersen & Co., Contel Corporation, GTE, and Southern Electric International.

Dr. Holdorf’s ministry experience includes serving as Executive Pastor of First Redeemer Church in Cumming, Georgia, where he was instrumental in over 15 years of leading the church’s growth from 90 people at inception to over 4,500 members. In 2011, he would transition as the Senior Pastor of the 1,500-member Oak Hill Baptist Church in metro Atlanta.

From 2016 to 2020, he served as the CEO of the National Christian Foundation, the 6th largest charity in America and the largest faith-based foundation in the world. Later in 2020, Dr. Chris Holdorf would serve as the Executive Director of the Global Water Center, a collaborative movement to get sustainable safe water to the 2.1B people who live in water and spiritual poverty.

Dr. Holdorf joined CSU’s Hans A. Nielsen College of Business in 2019 as an adjunct professor and is now serving as an Assistant Professor in Accounting. Outside of CSU, he enjoys flying, coastal boating, playing guitar, and hanging out with his five grandchildren.
