Nate Louis enters his 2nd season as an assistant coach on Saah Nimley’s staff in the 2024-25 season. Overall, this is his fifth season on the men’s basketball staff at Charleston Southern.

After a successful two seasons as a player at CSU, Louis went to become a graduate assistant as the men’s basketball video coordinator in 2020-21. In this role, Louis handled the Bucs’ video scouting efforts and helped in operating all facets of the program. Louis was promoted to Director of Basketball Operations in 2021 and then worked his way to Assistant Coach in 2023.

Louis played his junior and senior seasons in the Charleston Southern blue and gold and etched his name in the program’s record book as one of the most efficient three-point shooters, capping his career ranked among the top-5 in career three-point field goal percentage.

He played in 55 games in his two seasons at CSU starting 27 including the final 16 contests. Louis made 76 three-point field goals as a Buc highlighted by a 6-of-9 performance versus Presbyterian as a junior.
