Susan Rickard is originally from Pennsylvania and graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Her employment background is in varied industries and jobs positions from retail, construction, to non-profits before coming the CSU. She feels this background gives her the ability to share her experiences with students to help them decide on their own major and career path.

I chose CSU because it is a Christian work environment, so I am free to talk about Jesus to employees as well as students without worrying if I will lose my job for it. My background working with teens extends over 25 years from volunteering at church and non-profits to working with teens professionally in the Charleston area, so it was the next step in my career path. Being able to talk with college students, when they cross my path, has been a highlight being at CSU. I am able to pour into them my years of wisdom so they can make the best decisions for their life and learn from my mistakes.
