Kelly Wall

Kelly Wall is a nurse with over 22 years of clinical experience. Her areas of expertise include Medical Surgical and Home infusion nursing. She received her Associates in Science in Nursing from Purdue University in 1994. She obtained her Master’s in Science in Nursing Education from Walden University in 2015. She started her teaching career here at CSU shortly after obtaining her master’s degree. Wall began as an adjunct clinical instructor in CSU’s nursing program. Within a couple of years, she decided to transition to full-time nursing faculty. Currently, Wall teaches in both the traditional and accelerated BSN programs.

During her nursing career, Wall held roles as the charge nurse and clinical coach. She was also an avid member in the Nurse’s Shared Governance Committee at her facility and also held the Chair position for the same committee for 2 years. During these roles, she was able to develop an employee recognition program and assist in developing/restructuring the clinical coach program that is used to train new nurses on the units. She also assisted in gathering information and writing the Pathway to Excellence document for her facility twice, which on both attempts gained recognition and designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Wall had the honor of being nominated for the Daisy Award twice in her career. Nurses are nominated for the Daisy Award by anyone in the organization (patients, family members, other nurses, physicians, other clinicians and staff). The nomination is based on anyone who experiences or observes extraordinary compassionate care being provided by a nurse.

Kelly currently attends Seacoast Church and volunteers on the emergency response team at her church. Kelly is married and has a daughter. She also has animal children consisting of 4 dogs, a cat, and a bird. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and animals. Kelly is originally from Indiana and transplanted to South Carolina in 2006.

Your Purpose. Our Mission.

My purpose is to help students grow in their nursing knowledge and skills, but also to help them in finding their purpose in life. I am here to support students through times of failure and times of success. I am here to remind them that our plan does not always align with God’s plan for us, but if we remain steadfast, faithful, and trust in the Lord, we will succeed no matter our circumstances because He works all things for good.
