Dr. Hunter named to CBM’s 50 Most Influential list

Charleston Business Magazine announced Dr. Jairy C. Hunter Jr. on its 50 Most Influential list for 2017. The selection of the 50 individuals is a result of staff research and community nominations of individuals who have made a lasting impact on the Lowcountry this year.

Four Charleston Southern University alumni were also on the list:

  • Keith Summey ’69, North Charleston mayor
  • Dot Scott ‘84, president of the Charleston Branch NAACP and property manager of PCAAN Realty, Inc.
  • Tim Scott ’88, U.S. Senator (S.C.)
  • John Osborne ’02, co-founder of The Harbor Entrepreneur Center
