Fultz announced as new Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at CSU

Dr. Daniel D. Fultz, a Professor in the Communication department, has been selected to serve as the new Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Dr. Fultz has more than 25 years of experience in higher education, having taught courses in most areas of communication as well as business, sport science, global studies and degree completion programs. Dr. Fultz has also worked in public relations, website design and served on numerous boards in a variety of settings.

He has been serving as Associate Dean for the College of Humanities and Social Science, teaches and is an ordained Southern Baptist pastor. Dr. Fultz has a master’s degree in Business and a doctorate in Communication.

Dr. Fultz will immediately assume the duties and responsibilities as Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is the largest academic division at Charleston Southern University, and Dr. Fultz is fully committed to moving forward with growth in all programs while ensuring the highest level of Academic Excellence in a Christian Environment.
