College of Adult and Professional Studies:

Charleston Southern Online offers a variety of degree and non-degree programs designed for the adult learner. The College of Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS) offers an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration, Hospitality and Tourism, Human Resources, Management, Professional Studies, Supply Chain Management, and Project Management.

Degree completion time will depend upon a student’s enrollment status at the time of acceptance and the number of approved transfer credit hours from a regionally accredited institution.

The degree is 125 credit hours and consists of three categories of credit: Liberal Arts Core, Major, and Interdisciplinary Electives. With the exception of MATH 105 and SPAN 101 (which is a full semester in length) all CAPS courses are 7-weeks in length. All CAPS courses are online and offered in an asynchronous format through Blackboard. Students are not required to meet at a specific time during a course.

Credit previously earned at CSU will be appropriately placed into the Liberal Arts Core, Interdisciplinary Electives, or CAPS Major. Once a student is enrolled, all courses must be taken at Charleston Southern University unless approved for transfer by the University Registrar.
