Student Resources

Charleston Southern University recently expanded the Health Science Building to 40,000 sq. feet which now includes programs in Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, and Public Health. The building contains dedicated space and features many areas that are essential to physical therapy programs. The first floor of the Health Science Building houses a physical therapy research lab, two teaching labs, and one lecture room. Some indoor hallway seating areas are provided for student use as well as an outdoor patio area for studying and activities. The second floor of the building houses a Gross Anatomy Lab and additional dedicated program space. This includes a second DPT dedicated classroom, seven study areas that can be used for problem-based learning.

The PT wing of the Health Science Building is available for tours. Schedule a tour or contact our admissions coordinator at dptadmissions@csuniv.edu.

The purpose of this Physical Therapy Club is service, advocacy and education for the profession of physical therapy. This is accomplished by creating and promoting opportunities to engage in service projects, educational programs, and fundraising activities that benefit the club members as well as the community and the profession.

This is a graduate club. Membership in this organization is open to all CSU DPT students and will not be restricted on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status. It is expected that all members are enrolled in Charleston Southern University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

For more information, follow along on Instagram and Facebook, or reach out to the program director, Dr. Janet Tankersley.
