The Master of Science in information technology is a cross-disciplinary degree well-suited for students in the information technology or computer science fields. The program blends Master of Science in computer science courses with leadership and managerial courses offered in the Nielsen College of Business.

We offer a flexible learning format, either an in class or online format to meet students’ needs.  Knowledge learned in our classrooms can be applied immediately. Our unique Christian environment allows us to not only teach knowledge but also provides students an opportunity to apply learned knowledge ethically.

Charleston Southern University’s accreditation can be found here.

Students will take courses such as Fundamentals of Leadership, Servant Leadership, Leading Organizational Change and Transformation and more. Faculty are always available and easy to approach for questions and help.

The program consists of 30 hours with a thesis option or non-thesis option. Students electing the non-thesis route will choose from classes such as Data Mining, Advanced Computer Architecture, and Applied Cryptography.

The College of Science and Mathematics ensures through its curricula and course offerings that students in all majors demonstrate an understanding of the continuing role of science and mathematics in human progress.
