Every gift matters because every Buc counts

The Charleston Southern Fund is our annual fund that provides unrestricted scholarship support for students. YOU hold the power to have a profound impact by inspiring and encouraging current and future CSU students.

A growing enrollment means an increased level of need from students who want a Christian college experience. Providing access for students to attend CSU and become the next generation of Christian leaders has always been the university’s top priority, and your support for the Charleston Southern Fund helps make that experience possible.

The fund plays a crucial role in providing the aid needed annually to attract and retain students who have the greatest financial need. We are confident that God will use alumni and friends of the university to provide the resources so that hundreds of students can continue their education next year.

Through your continued support, our students will be able to get the financial assistance they need to pursue a Christ-centered higher education at CSU.

The 1,052 Alumni Strong Challenge

A total of 1,052 new students joined the CSU family in August 2022. With these new students comes a new need. Now is the time to help make a limitless impact in their lives. Our hope is that 1,052 alumni will participate in this challenge by giving to the CSU Annual Scholarship Fund to help support these 1,052 new students.

Now through May 2023, we encourage all alumni to join the challenge today! When the goal of 1,052 participating alumni is reached, the Whitfield family will then generously donate $100,000 towards student scholarships!

With your gift you are:

  • Allowing first generation college students to follow their dream of going to college
  • Helping those who don’t yet know Christ become believers
  • Providing an education to future health care providers, teachers, entrepreneurs, psychologists, and more
