Though social distancing rules have changed the typical flow of campus, Charleston Southern still has plenty of places for our commuters to work on projects or log in to a remote class. Here are the top 20:

  1. 2nd floor lounge in the Science Building
  2. Whitfield Center for Christian Leadership, 1st floor lobby
  3. Student Center, 2nd floor area at the top of the stairs
  4. Balconies on the second floor of the Student Center at the top of the stairs
  5. Outside of the Career Center in the Student Center
  6. Lobby of the New Residence Hall
  7. Brewer Center Lounge
  8. Java City (outside only)
  9. “The Block” outside of Chick-fil-A
  10. Benches around the pond
  11. Benches around WCCL
  12. Littlejohn Parlor (between Women’s North and South)
  13. Library
  14. 2nd floor of Russell East – Computer Lounge open 24/7
  15. Picnic area behind the football stadium
  16. Buc Park (behind the pool)
  17. Swings off the walkway between Women’s South and softball field
  18. Picnic tables between/around Russell East and Women’s South
  19. Outside of the V.P. of Student Life’s office and business office
  20. Entry corridors to Ashby, Jones, Norris, Wingo (1st and 2nd floors)
