Representatives from Charleston Southern University will be on site at the annual Southern Baptist Convention in Orlando, Florida from Sunday, June 7 through Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Attendees may stop by the exhibit booth #1457 each day to network, fellowship, and learn about the many opportunities available for continuing education and ministry – including a few exciting scholarship opportunities. Booth visitors will also have a chance to win a Charleston Getaway and many more prizes!
The CSU Singers will perform each day with worship sets led by several student groups. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the musical talents of future music and worship leaders in the local church.

Charleston Southern University has launched a new scholarship program for families who faithfully serve in pastoral ministry. The South Carolina Ministry Buc Award is a full-tuition scholarship available to eligible dependents of South Carolina Baptist Convention pastors as well as missionaries serving with the International Mission Board (IMB) or North American Mission Board (NAMB) commissioned through the SC Baptist Convention. Dependents of pastors in ordained by a church affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and missionaries with IMB and NAMB are eligible to receive $1,000 per year. A letter on church letter stating parent is an ordained pastor is required. A letter from IMB or NAMB indicating full-time status as a missionary is required. This annual award of $17,000 is offered to select incoming students who major in a Christian ministry degree at Charleston Southern University. It is renewable, for a total of nearly $70,000 in financial aid. To be eligible, applicants must declare a traditional major from the College of Christian Studies, and recipients must commit to remaining at CSU through graduation.
