It’s your home away from home. For most of you, it’s your first time away from your family. We’ve been there. And we want to make you feel at HOME at CSU!
This is where you’ll sleep, study, stay up all night binge watching your favorite shows, avoid burning the popcorn, wash your own clothes and make memories with your roomies. Here’s a breakdown of the eight residence hall options at CSU!
Housing Options
Platinum Tier ($7,035 per semester)
Double Room w/ shared common space & bathroom spaces
Mead Hall is the newest addition housing mostly upperclassmen. Female residents are housed in the left wing, and male residents are housed in the right wing. A suite consists of two double rooms, sharing a private study/lounge space and a bathroom with separate sink, toilet and shower areas. Each room contains a medium loft bed, study table with chair, dresser, wardrobe, and nightstand per resident. Residents also have access to exclusive building amenities including the third floor community kitchen, a large first floor laundry room, lounge, study rooms and an elevator.

Magnolia Hall is a three-story, 52,000 square foot suite-style residence hall located adjacent to Mead Hall with a shared courtyard. Magnolia Hall accommodates 216 students and include furnished double-occupancy suites (two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a shared living area). Amenities feature group study spaces on each floor, private study rooms on the third floor, a full kitchen on the third floor, a grab-and-go Galley on the first floor, and a fitness center on the second floor.
Mead Hall is a coed building, with female residents housed in the left wing and male residents housed in the right. The hall consists of two-person rooms within four-person suites with lofted furniture. Each suite includes a private study/lounge.
Blue Tier ($6,340 per semester)
Double Room in suite w/ shared bathroom
Seven of eight residence halls offer the blue tier room type. This room type is joined by a shared bathroom with double rooms on either side. These four person suites are available in Quad 1, Quad 2, Quad 3, Russell East and West, and Women’s North and South.

Palmetto Hall, formerly an award-winning hotel now converted into a fully functioning residence hall for CSU, features 97 guest rooms and has several meeting spaces for small to medium groups.
Russell East is a co-ed building. There are two full laundry rooms, and the building consists of suite-style rooms with a bathroom in between two rooms.
Russell West houses upperclassman female residents. The residence hall consists of suites with wood furniture and lighter furniture. The facility includes one laundry room, study room, and computer lab. Russell West also houses the ROTC offices.
The Quads house male freshmen, transfers, and upperclassmen. Rooms are suite style with two rooms, hosting two residents in each room, connected by a bathroom. The Quads are located on the northwest side of campus and have parking on the east and west sides of the buildings. Each Quad has a laundry facility.
Women’s North is a female only residence hall that consists of upperclassman women residents. This hall has four person suites with wardrobes in each room. Women’s North consists of two updated laundry rooms on the first and third floors and is located close to residential parking.
Women’s South is a female-only residence hall that consists of freshmen and transfer women residents. Women’s South consists of standard stackable furniture with closet space on the first and second floor. The third floor furniture consists of wood furniture (nonadjustable beds) and lighter furniture (adjustable beds). This hall has one laundry room located on the third floor and all four person suites. Women’s South is close to residential parking and is located directly across from a few of our athletic facilities.
