The Miss Charleston Southern University Scholarship Pageant has been a cherished tradition at Charleston Southern University since 1994. This annual event celebrates the talent, intelligence, leadership, service, and accomplishments of outstanding young women within the CSU community.

As an official preliminary pageant affiliated with the Miss America Organization, one of the nation’s leading scholarship providers for young women, Miss Charleston Southern University receives a $1,000 scholarship and earns the opportunity to compete in the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Competition during the summer of her reign.

Throughout her year of service, Miss CSU serves as an ambassador for Charleston Southern University, representing the institution with grace, confidence, and a commitment to excellence. Through leadership development, public speaking, interviewing, community involvement, and service initiatives, Miss CSU gains valuable experiences that prepare her for success beyond the crown.
