Purpose

Charleston Southern University is committed to providing students with a faith-based community, so that they might learn in a safe, productive environment. As a university, we promote the establishment of growth, change and purpose in the hearts and minds of students. Specifically regarding the MA in organizational leadership, we feel these courses will enrich the student’s life with leadership principles necessary for any endeavor they choose to pursue. Our focus on servant leadership is certain to provide the student with the building blocks of a successful career.

Distinctive Features

Distinctive leadership development competencies are infused into every course throughout the program. The discrepancies between management and leadership, as well as how managers should first be leaders, are made clear. In addition, the importance of ethics in leadership is established in light of principles taught through a biblical worldview.

We know that students each have a calling that is unique to them. Because of this, we have designed this program to be flexible, giving each student the opportunity to personalize his/her learning experience and cooperate with his/her individual schedules. This degree can be completed 100% online, 100% on-campus, or as a blend of the two options.

Students can take one, two or three courses per semester. A student taking three courses per semester can graduate in four semesters, or 17 months. Classes are offered over three terms: fall, spring and summer. Students can start at the beginning of any term.

CSU has been named to America’s 100 Best College Buys and America’s Best Christian Colleges. This means a student can achieve his or her business degree in an excellent business school at a great value. Due to its low overall cost, curriculum and small classes, the MA in organizational leadership at CSU is a superb value.

Charleston Southern’s business school professors are scholars in their respective fields. They are also Christians committed to teaching cutting-edge business practices in light of time-tested biblical principles.

Charleston Southern is a 2018-19 Military Friendly school. It is the #20 Christian school in the US for its accommodations of veterans. About 1 in every 10 graduate students in the College of Business is a veteran.
